Karen Gillespie – Massage Therapist
I began my massage training in the early 1980’s at the Minneapolis School of Massage. The early years were spent educating the public about the benefits of massage therapy at health fairs and other public events with the first professional massage organization in Minnesota called Minnesota Therapeutic Massage Network. I began practicing massage as an independent contractor at Eagan Chiropractic and at the Center For A Balanced Life. My practice of massage includes Esalan massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, polarity therapy techniques and myofascial release techniques. My most current training is Healing Stone Massage which uses heated stones.
I enjoy meeting and working with clients to introduce the therapeutic benefits of massage and energy bodywork. I'm especially pleased with the opportunity to practice massage therapy at Strokes For Folks in Rosemount, where I've been a resident for the past 20 years.
